Coleraine Racing Club Watch Tower

Prefab1 was engaged by Racing Victoria to deliver a purpose-built modular watchtower designed to provide race callers and on-track staff with exceptional visibility across the course. Built off-site in our controlled manufacturing environment, the unit was engineered for elevation, functionality, and year-round performance.

This compact yet highly specialised structure showcases the advantages of modular construction for sporting facilities — delivering faster timelines, minimal on-site disruption, and precision installation. The completed watchtower was craned into position and secured onto its elevated platform, offering a clear, unobstructed vantage point overlooking the track.

Finished to the high standard expected across all Prefab1 projects, the tower includes a comfortable internal workspace, durable materials suited to exposed environments, and integrated services ready for Racing Victoria’s operational needs.
