Prefab1 were engaged to undertake the design and construction a two story modular office building for the Metro Maintenance team. The client required the project to be built in a short timeframe, to ensure other elements of the Level Crossing Removal Program could take place.

Prefab1 collaborated with Metro & John Holland to ensure the design would work for the employees of the office. With the building being operational 24 Hours 7 days a week, the correct use of materials was paramount.

The project took 8 weeks to build in the factory and only two weeks onsite from the time it was awarded.
