Chandler Hwy Compound – North East Link

Prefab1 delivered a major site accommodation package for the North East Link Program Eastern Freeway Upgrades, Chandler Compound.

The works included the supply and installation of Prefab1-owned modular site sheds and amenities, including transport, cranage, labour, materials, levelling, and site establishment.

A key part of this project was the refurbishment and repurposing of existing compound sheds.

Prefab1 renovated older site buildings and brought them back into service, providing a practical sustainability outcome by reducing waste, extending the lifecycle of existing assets and limiting the need for new-build temporary accommodation.

Prefab1’s scope also included engineering design, installation certification, building set-out, block piers, crane placement, tie-downs, internal hydraulic connections, roof access, an and plumbing works to ensure the buildings were sealed and weatherproof prior to occupation.
