North East Link KCR Compound

Prefab1 was appointed by Select Solutions as the principal contractor to deliver a large-scale site compound installation, comprising over 200 site sheds arranged in a double-stacked configuration. This complex project required a coordinated approach to temporary works design, structural engineering, and logistics to ensure both safety and efficiency on site.

The scope of works included full temporary works design and engineering, installation of footings, sheds, gantry steel, and roofing. Prefab1 also designed and installed all covered walkways, pre-start slabs, ramps, and stair towers, ensuring safe and compliant access throughout the compound. Cranage and delivery were carefully managed to meet tight staging requirements.

This project demonstrates Prefab1’s capacity to deliver high-volume, high-complexity compound solutions—balancing precision, safety, and rapid deployment for major infrastructure environments.
